Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date and last updated: November 2, 2026
1. About This Policy
This policy is for residents of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, and for anyone else who wants to know how Hushbean treats health-related information. It adds to our Privacy Policy at atlaslabsstudio.com/hushbean/privacy. Hushbean is made by Atlas Labs, which you can reach at support@atlaslabsstudio.com.
2. Health Data That Stays on Your iPhone
Your sleep recordings and clips, the grinding and snoring the app finds, your reports and habit comparisons, and your check-in and setup answers are processed only on your iPhone. We never receive them, so we do not collect, share or sell them.
3. Consumer Health Data We Collect
Only if you agree during setup or in Me → Privacy, the app sends usage data: which screens and buttons are used, error reports, technical information about your iPhone and the app, and a random identifier created on your iPhone (the full list is in Article 3 of our Privacy Policy). None of it describes your body, your sleep or your answers. But because it comes from an app about sleep and teeth grinding and carries an identifier, it could show that someone is using such an app, so we treat it as consumer health data.
4. Why We Collect It and How We Use It
Only to find and fix errors and to understand which parts of the app are used, so we can improve it. Never for advertising or marketing.
5. Where It Comes From
Only from the Hushbean app on your iPhone, after you agree. We do not obtain consumer health data from anyone else.
6. Sharing
We do not share or sell consumer health data. It is processed for us by our service provider PostHog Inc. (product analytics), under a contract that lets it use the data only to provide its service to us. We have no affiliates that receive it. We do not use geofencing.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, and see it see a list of every third party and affiliate it has been shared with, and how to contact them withdraw your consent — in the app, turn off Me → Privacy → Share usage data have your consumer health data deleted To use a right, write to support@atlaslabsstudio.com. We will answer within 45 days; if we need more time, we will tell you why, and take no more than 45 more days. Because the data is not linked to your name, we may ask you to help us find the records that are yours. Using these rights is free, and you will not be treated differently for using them.
8. Appeals
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or writing to support@atlaslabsstudio.com with "Appeal" in the subject. We will answer within 45 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General (atg.wa.gov), the Nevada Attorney General (ag.nv.gov) or the Connecticut Attorney General (portal.ct.gov/ag).
